BURSON LADIES CUP
WITH THE support of series sponsor Burson Auto Parts, the Paynter Dixon Touring Car Masters series will introduce a dedicated ‘Ladies Cup’ in 2019.
The Burson Auto Parts Ladies Cup will be fielded as a separate class within the existing ProMaster, ProAm and ProSports class structure seen in TCM.
Ladies Cup competitors will be eligible for all outright and class awards but will also compete for their own trophies as well.
“We have had the privilege of having Leanne Tander, Amanda Sparks and Melinda Price competing successfully in Touring Car Masters in the past,” said Category Manager Tony Hunter.
“The TCM Burson Auto Parts Ladies Cup will be a prestigious part of the championship and we hope it can attract a full field. We are aiming for eight competitors in the long-term and while we know it will take some time to build, we want to start now.”
The series will work with sponsor Burson and existing series partners to support the program, including offering a range of supporting packages for prospective competitors, including the potential of an all-women team competing in the championship in the future.
