CLIPSAL 500 - EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!

THE CLIPSAL 500 marks the opening round of the 2015 ENZED Touring Car Masters Series, presented by long-time series supporters Rare Spares and Shannons insurance.

The start of the new season is set to be a big occasion thanks to several key additions to the TCM field, and the largest grid the series’ has ever seen on the streets of Adelaide.

Several new cars making their debut add to the eclectic mix of classic muscle and sports cars from the 1960-1976 era.

ENZED Touring Car Masters frontrunner Keith Kassulke has charged into the top five of the Trans-Tasman battle between TCM and NZ ENZED Central Muscle Cars competitors, held at Highlands Park at the weekend.

Kassulke, driving his regular Savy Motorsport-prepared XB Falcon Coupe against the Central Muscle Car regulars, finished fourth in the 12-lap Trans-Tasman battle that was the feature of the Highlands Festival of Speed weekend.

GLENN SETON TO MAKE FULL-TIME TCM RETURN

GLENN SETON will return to the ENZED Touring Car Masters series this year, racing a 1964 Ford Mustang for Thunder Road Racing Team Australia.

The double Australian Touring Car / V8 Supercar champion had originally committed to racing the Mustang against the New Zealand Central Muscle Cars at the upcoming Highlands Festival of Speed, however that program was quickly expanded to include the remaining eight-round TCM schedule following discussions with car owner Don Dimitriadis.

ANDREW MIEDECKE and John Bowe have staged a battle for the ages to decide the final round of the ENZED Touring Car Masters series for 2014.

After Bowe won race one on Saturday, Miedecke returned serve to win two compelling races on Sunday and take the final round of the year in the Lubrimaxx Chevrolet Camaro.

Richards’ Shannons-supported Ford Falcon Sprint has been withdrawn from the final round of the 2014 series after suffering engine dramas in the opening practice session, leaving long-time rival John Bowe with a relatively clear path to the 2014 ProMasters title.
